Both the leadership and team here at ISS believe in passing on the blessings we’ve been given. Our creed is pretty straightforward: if you are in a position to help someone in need, do it. Throughout the year, we share the bounty we have been given with a variety of community outreach organizations. In that way, we are able to touch the lives of families who are struggling to meet the needs of their loved ones.
But perhaps at Christmas more so than at any other time during the year, our thoughts are on families who have trouble making ends meet. We think of the heavy burden a parent experiences when he or she is unable to provide gifts to a child when all around everyone else is busy being Santa’s helper, wrapping toys and new clothes to put under the tree. That particular burden is one ISS is happy to relieve, and we consider it a pleasure to step up and fill that gap with donations to make sure kids do have presents to unwrap on Christmas morning.
We encourage other businesses not already involved in community giving to consider getting involved. Our town is one where many companies are in a position of great success, and with more companies active in helping people in need, our town could see countless families receive a surplus of what they need to live full, happy lives.
The old platitude really is true: it is better to give than to receive.
From our family to yours, we wish you peace and happiness during this Christmas season!
